How it works

From the first conversation to your business up and running.

  1. 01

    Conversation

You tell us about your business: your field, your plans for Italy and where things stand today.

  2. 02

    Plan

The recommended structure, the setup and running costs and the order of the steps, in writing.

  3. 03

    Registration

We guide you through every stage with our partner accountant and stay on hand in the first months.

Import and export

Brazil and Italy, in both directions.

With the Mercosur–European Union agreement in force since May 2026, it has become easier to move products from one side to the other. We develop the market for your product: who the buyers are, how to reach them and which partners to work with.

Our experience

“We opened our own company here before helping anyone else. We know where bureaucracy gets stuck, because we got stuck there ourselves.”

Questions

Frequently asked questions

We guide and support you. The accounting and tax work is done by our partner Italian accountant.

Do I need to be an Italian citizen to start a business in Italy?

Not necessarily. Italian and EU citizens can start one without restrictions; other cases depend on the type of residence permit. In the first conversation we explain what applies to you.

What is the best tax regime for me?

It depends on your expected revenue, the type of activity and how many people are involved: it could be a partita IVA (Italian VAT number) under the regime forfettario (flat-rate scheme), a partita IVA under the standard regime or an SRL. It’s the first decision we help you make, because it changes taxes and costs.

Are you accountants?

No. We guide, organize and support you, and the accounting is done by a partner commercialista (accountant) whom we recommend.

Can I open the business while I’m still in Brazil?

Part of the planning, yes. Opening the business itself requires a codice fiscale and, usually, residence in Italy; we set out the right order so you don’t waste time.

How much does it cost to start a business in Italy?

It varies with the structure: an individual partita IVA costs little to open, while an SRL has notary and capital costs. In the proposal we lay out the numbers for your case, with no surprises.

Does the Mercosur–European Union agreement already apply to my product?

The agreement has been in force since May 2026 and reduces or removes tariffs on many products, but each one has its own rules. We look at your case in the first conversation.

Do you handle customs clearance and shipping?

Not directly. Our work is market development; customs clearance and shipping are handled by partner customs brokers and carriers that we recommend.
